Set it and forget it until something happens and you need to recover your footage. The PIR sensor also works very well up to 20 feet and there are no miss-fires like on other regular motion detector cameras. Where a curtain blowing in the wind would normally activate the motion recording on cheaper units, this unit DOES NOT make that mistake because it’s looking for body heat, not motion, very nice!
